Our History
Opalium timeline



  • 1982: Creation of the SATTE (Société d'Assistance Technique de Traitement des Eaux).



  • 1998: The SATTE becomes part of the American group US Filter and, several months later, the American group is bought out by the VIVENDI Group



  • 1999: US Filter is bought by the Vivendi Group (Générale des Eaux).



  • 2000: Opalium is created to meet the needs of small-scale modular water treatment stations (it
    is still part of the Vivendi Group).



  • 2001: The Vivendi Group becomes VEOLIA.



  • 2001/2004: Opalium becomes an independent company within the Veolia Environnement Group.



  • 2004: Opalium is attached to OTV France and becomes its subsidiary.
